KATHMANDU: The Government has decided to lengthen the period of suspension of International passenger flights flying in to or from Nepal.
As per the latest decision, the suspension term will extend further for another month, till the midnight of September 16.
Special permission would be required from the government to conduct repatriation and rescue flights, freighter and cargo flights related to medical and other essential supplies, it has been learnt.
Embassies in various countries have issued circulars notifying the concerned people about the suspension of flights.
Earlier, all domestic and international passenger flights were scheduled to resume on August 17.
